Rip It Up is a print inspired by the song of the same name, by Scottish indie pop band Orange Juice, released in 1983.
Created by overprinting and masking with ripped paper, with each mask protecting some, but not all, of the previous colour.
The process results in a series, rather than a typical edition, with each print being a unique result of the unpredictable ripping of the sheet of paper.
