Inspired by one of the most famous exchanges in Rock ‘n’ Roll history. In 1966, in the Free Trade Hall in Manchester, a disgruntled fan shouts ‘Judas’, and after some back-and-forth Dylan turns to his band and tells them to ‘PLAY IT F***IN’ LOUD’ – before launching into a blistering version of ‘Like a Rolling Stone’. So, in a sense, it’s Dylan protesting a fan’s protest about Dylan not playing protest songs… protest cubed. Three colour linocut letterpress print.
